Sacred Heart Award

The Sacred Heart Award was created in 1989 in memory of a WISH sister, Roxanne Leonard, who was killed in a motorcycle accident before she was able to initiate into Phi Mu-Zeta Sigma.

The Sacred Heart Award is given to a sister who embodies the true spirit of Phi Mu, an is an example to all of her Phi Mu sisters. This is the highest honor and privilege a Zeta Sister can be awarded.

Eligibility for the award:
a. be of at least a junior (3rd year) in status
b. must be returning through the following spring semester 

The award is presented each spring by our Sacred Heart tree (behind Wyman Education building). The recipient is given a plaque and a traveling heart-shaped necklace to wear for the year.
