Sacred Heart Award

The Sacred Heart Award was created in 1989 in memory of a WISH sister, Roxanne Leonard, who was killed in a motorcycle accident before she was able to initiate into Phi Mu-Zeta Sigma. The Sacred Heart Award is given to a sister who embodies the true spirit of Phi Mu, an is an example to all of her Phi Mu sisters. This is the highest honor and privilege a Zeta Sister can be awarded. The award is presented each spring by our Sacred Heart tree (behind Wyman Education building). The recipient is given a plaque and a traveling heart-shaped necklace to wear for the year.
